Coffee That Ranks Among the Best in the World
We hold our coffee to a high standard, and lately that work has been recognized in a big way. Our El Salvador Loma La Gloria, the Unicorn lot, scored a 95 out of 100 from Coffee Review. That is an extraordinary number. Our Colombia El Mirador earned a 94. Scores like these put our releases in the top tier of specialty coffee anywhere.
We are proud of those numbers. But they are not the point. They are the result of something that matters much more to us.
It Was Never Just About the Coffee
Behind every one of those scores is a person. A farmer, a producer, a family, a community that put in the work long before the coffee ever reached our roaster. That is why we started the Long Live Farmers program.
Long Live Farmers gives back a portion of our sales to farmers and their farming communities. It is not a tagline. It is a commitment to reinvest in the farms and the people producing these exceptional coffees, so that the value of great coffee flows back to where it begins.
What That Looks Like in Practice
Most recently, we were able to cover the full medical expenses for the farm manager at Finca Escénica in Nicaragua. That is what this is about. Real support, for real people, at a real moment of need.
So when you see our prices go up, we want you to know exactly why. We want to create good jobs, fair wages, and room to grow for our own team. And we want to provide livelihood and stability for our farmer-partners, so their communities can thrive too. Quality coffee should be sustainable for everyone whose hands it passes through.
